Biography

Hello, thanks for looking me up. I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1984. I currently hold a General Class license, and hope to upgrade to Extra Class this year. Because of work,(a Journeyman Glazier), I haven't been very active for most of the time I've had my license. I retired on my birthday in 2019, and now have time to devote to amateur radio. I've always been interested in computers and enjoy using them along with radios. I operate exclusively digital modes for now. I enjoy building my own antennas and other shack accessories. I put up the hex-beam last fall(2020), and find it really helps with DX. My next antenna project will most likely be a multi-band vertical(6-BTV), hope to get it installed this summer.
