Biography

Hello, thanks for visiting my page. I go by "Denny" and would enjoy hearing from you. I recieved my Technician Class license in August 2020 and I upgraded to General Class in February 2021. I retired from the United States Air Force in 1993 after serving over twenty years of active military service. I'm married with two sons, a daughter and three grandchildren. I'm a volunteer Firefighter and a retired High School and College basketball official. I love to ride my Suzuki Burgman 400 and Honda PCX 150 Scooters and enjoy hitting a golf ball every once in a while. I'm retired but keep myself busy enough to keep my wife happy and get me out of the house for a little. My wife and I love to cruise and we live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

I'm currently running an Icom IC-7300 as my HF radio. I live in an area that has an HOA. My antenna is a Comet CHA-250B multiband vertical. From the ground it is approximately 45 feet to the tip. I'm very satisfied with it so far and I find it very effective for me in my situation. I enjoy sending and receiving QSL cards. If I get one from you I will gladly return the favor. NO SASE necessary!
