Hola, mi nombre es Andy. Me gusta la radioafición desde antes de saber que extistía pues de chico me entretenía haciendo osciladores a cuarzo que luego trataba de escuchar en los radios de las casas de vecinos y amigos hasta que un dia logré hacer modular dos osciladores iguales y establecí una conversación con un amigo a unos fabulosos 200 metros de mi casa!!!, estoy trabajando el HF seriamente desde abril del 2011 como CM2AFV (2da Categoria) en fonía pero luego de “descubrir” los modos digitales solo se me escucha por 2 metros (y eso hasta que me ponga a hacer packet), soy fanático del PSK31 aunque reconozco que el JT65 utilizando menos potencia llega más lejos y está más “de moda”, el 16 marzo del 2015 estrené la 1ra Categoría como CO2AFV, todas mis antenas han sido hechas a mano pasando por la dipolo, la doble bazooka, la RockLoop (miniatura que le aconsejo a todos!!!), la New Carolina Windom y la mini G5RV para 40metros en V invertida hecha con cinta de 300ohms para TV, ésta última es la que mejores resultados me ha dado y con la que me casé (mi respeto a los que no han logrado hacerla funcionar), la sintonizo con un transmatch en T también hecho en casa (incluido el acoplador bidireccional para medir la potencia directa y la reflejada ) mi radio es un ICOM IC-735 que no necesita explicación, conectado a la PC via CAT e interface (curiosamente también ambos HOME MADE), suelo usar solo 8 o 10Watts para no interferir la TV digital en mi QTH, aunque con una G5RV no hace falta más potencia, de noche cuando en casa se van a dormir subo algunos vatios de mas ;-) …ahora que lo pienso: menos la PC y el radio todo lo demás lo he construido yo pues la fuente sólo tiene de fábrica el chasis y el transformador!!! Mi otro hobby es la fotografía, y no le demoro más para que me pueda enviar su QSL via directa a mi dirección postal, no necesito SASE ni papelitos verdes, sólo su QSL en un sobre con un sello y su dirección para poderle enviar la mia de vuelta, si leyó hasta aquí no me la va a negar :-) , 73 y muchos DXs!!!

I had an interest in Ham radio before knowing that exists, while I was a child my entertaiment was building quartz oscilators that later I tryed to receive in neighbors´ and friends´ radios until one day I make modulate two of them and I finally make a conversation with a friend about 200 meters from my home!!!. Im working seriously HF bands since april 2011 as CM2AFV (2nd Cathegory) on phone but since I “discover” digitals modes Im only heard on 2 meters (and will be that way untill I start making packet), Im PSK31 fan even I have to say that JT65 using less power reaches far and is “the new thing”, March 16 of last year I show up 1st Cathegory as CO2AFV. All of my antennas has been hand-made passing by dipole, double bazooka, RockLoop (miniature that I sugest everry one!!!), the New Carolina Windom and the mini G5RV for 40metros inverted V setup made with 300ohms TV tween lead, this last is the best performance I had with, and the one I merried with (my respect to ones that not make it work properly yet), I tune it with a T transmatch home made too (included the bidirectional coupler to messure direct and reflected power ) Normal rig is ICOM IC-735 wich no need explanation, conected to PC via CAT and interface (curiosely HOME MADE TOO),I use to work with about 8 o 10Watts in order to not make any interference in Digital TV in my QTH, otherwise with a G5RV dont need more power, in the night when every body in home sleeps I raise some more Watts ;-) …an now thinking about it: I had made everything but the PC and Rig because even power supply only has from fabric the chasis and the transformator !!! I do not delay you more in order you can send me your QSL via direct to my adress, I dont need SASE or green papers, only your QSL in a letter with a stamp and your adress to I may send you mine back, if you had read so far you wont deny it me are you? :-) , 73 and lot of DXs!!!
