Biography

Hello. My name is Steve and I live in Southeastern Kentucky. I was first licensed in 1999 and upgraded to Amateur Extra in 2002. I have been a Licensed Ham for 25 years. I am an Avid DX'er with 331 DxCC Entities confirmed with QSL Cards. I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer. I chase DX and work towards awards on QRZ.Com. An Icom IC-7610 HF/50 100 watt Transciever
A Heil PR-781 Microphone on a Boom
A MFJ-989C 2KW Antenna Tuner
A W2IHY 8 band Audio Equalizer
A Ameritron AL-1200 Amplifier (Output usually between 1000-1200 watts)
Heliax 7/8 inch Hardline Coax
A Hy-Gain TH7-DX Tri-Bander Beam on a 100 foot Rohn 25 Tower.
The Antenna is turned by a Ham 4 Rotor.
