Memberships:
I am NOT a member of the Czech Radio Club (CRC). Never been and never will be a member for solely political reasons...
I am member of FOC, CWops, A1-OP, HSC, VHSC, SHSC, TBDXC, TOPS, MARCONISTA, OKDXC, OKDXF, NCDXF, OTC and much more.
I was expelled from the DIG (Diplom Interessen Gruppe - Diploma Interests Group, Germany), because I don't send paper QSL via bureau (This is not possible because I'm not a member of Czech Radio Club). I was DIG #1994, also former manager of W-DIG-OK).
QSLing:
If you need my paper QSL, send your card accompanied with an envelope with your address (SAE). This is very important especially if your language uses a non-latin character set (cyrillic etc.). QSLs without self addressed envelope will be thrown away and never answered!
A return postage will be appreciated. $2 (U.S.) is mostly sufficient. IRC coupons not accepted!
- Since no-coders entered HF I operate exclusively CW...
- I am not a member of the Czech Radio Club. I don't like IARU too much...
- OpenSource contributing author and Linux fan. Involved in numerous OpenSource projects (CQRLOG, Kicad, tlf, hamlib & much more).
- I am the author of a database of QSL managers. Over 30000 entries, activity dates, updated at least 4x per month. Built from scratch, verified data, no cluster mess!
- My country files are one of most accurate info sources available. Countries, provinces, regions, call areas, Antarctic bases, club stations, license classes & much more. A huge database of > 10000 individual calls included. Used in CQRLOG, possibly in other freeware programs.
- My Amateur Radio Prefix Map, created as vector graphics artwork includes all prefixes including smallest DXCC entities. With WAZ zones. Full color, can be freely zoomed from postal stamp size to a soccer field sized poster.
- All my files can be downloaded for free at www.ok1rr.com. Feel free to use, reproduce and include everywhere with only limitation - you are not allowed to charge any money for it. If used in a software project, it MUST be absolutely free (GPL or CC licenses accepted), preferably OpenSource. Any commercial use is strictly prohibited!
- I love dogs, cats, horses as well as other animals. And some people :-)
- I am also an avid fingerstyle guitar player. Country, celtic, irish and so on. Doc Watson is my hero!
